Alicia Ryans joins the Wasatch Community Gardens team with two decades of dedicated service in State Government. Most recently, she served as the Development Manager for the Governor’s Office of Energy Development. In this role, she led initiatives that enhanced energy efficiency and sustainability across the state. Alicia's passion for food and community was nurtured from an early age. Growing up just two blocks away from the Wasatch Community Gardens' inaugural garden space, she was immersed in a world where fresh, delicious food was not just a meal but a cherished aspect of family gatherings. This upbringing ignited her love for cooking, a legacy passed down from her beloved Oma. Inspired by these formative experiences, Alicia founded SOUL HAUS Catering, a business rooted in quality, impeccable flavor, and the joy of cooking with love to create food for the soul.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Alicia is a devoted mother to three remarkable children. In her leisure time, Alicia enjoys traveling with her family and exploring the breathtaking beauty that Utah offers. Whether it's hiking in the stunning mountains or discovering hidden gems in local parks, she finds joy in the great outdoors and the adventures that life brings.
