Susan Finlayson

Susan is Wasatch Community Gardens' Special Projects Director, currently working on documenting best practices across the organization and leading WCG’s organizational goal to develop shareable models. Susan previously oversaw Wasatch Community Gardens' Community Garden Program, working directly with community members and partners starting and supporting community gardens across Salt Lake County. Susan earned a masters in Horticulture and Agronomy at the University of California, Davis, and taught Organic Gardening at the University of Utah for six years. Her interests also include spending time in Utah's beautiful mountains and deserts, hiking and cross country skiing.
