Organic Fruit Tree Care Calendar

Organic fruit tree care involves a multi-pronged approach to maintain tree health and prevent and manage common pests and diseases.  This document compiles a vast amount of information into an easy-to-follow weekly calendar for the following types of fruit trees:  apple, pear, Asian pear, peach, nectarine, nectaplum, plum, pluot, and aprium.

Preventative and management treatments include dormant and horticultural oil, BT, spinosad, sulfur, neem, and copper.  Diseases and pests being managed include Coryneum Blight, codling moth, aphids, Greater Peach Tree Borer, and Peach Twig Borer. Included on the chart are pruning and fertilizing prompts as well as routine checks for Fire blight, powdery mildew, and Cytospora canker.

Note that cherry tree management is not included in this document.
