Request Support for Your Group

For educational activities with adult audiences, please refer to the existing offerings of our Education Program. If these offerings do not meet your needs, please use the form below to request support for your project, and contact celia@wasatchgardens.org if you have any questions. Examples of previously offered adult educational support include:

  • Consultation for a non-profit organization's garden layout and veggie variety selection
  • Workplace presentation about herb gardening in Utah
  • Facilitating a festival workshop on ancient corn preparation with a local chef
  • Webinar on organic gardening tips for West Valley residents

Alternatively, for educational activities with youth, please refer to the existing offerings of our Youth and School Program, and contact emily@wasatchgardens.org if you have any questions. If your project includes a garden for youth at your site, please refer additionally to our Garden Development Best Practices document.

Or, if you are seeking ongoing support, please provide the frequency of activities and time period as well (a workshop series held once per month on Wednesdays from 3-5pm, June-September, for example).
Wasatch Community Gardens focuses most of our support within Salt Lake County, but may still be able to provide some resources to those outside of this boundary.

For educational activities, this may include venue set up/clean up, audio/video equipment, participant recruitment, participant transportation, media promotion/outreach, staff support, and more. Other examples may include volunteer labor, translation skills, project budgeting, reimbursement for WCG materials costs, payment for WCG staff time, etc. Depending on the request, we may offer support for free or for a fee.
