Our Love Local Holiday Market returns Saturday, December 2, from 12-6 pm! Give the gift of local support this holiday season. Join Wasatch Community Gardens for an outdoor holiday market celebrating local food, local makers and the warmth of community.
Browse 30+ vendors showcasing local farm goods, art, honey, preserves and more. Wander our decorated tree forest and bid at the silent auction to take one home. Warm up with mulled wine, teas, or bites from local food trucks. Visit our DIY upcycled gift wrapping station! Kids will delight in the holiday craft activities.
$5 admission. Children 5 and under are free.

We encourage you to take advantage of public transit via tram or bus, or to consider walking, biking, using rideshare services or carpooling. Street parking is available for free.

The Red Line to the Trolley Square Station will get you about 4 blocks away on foot.
The 209 bus to 900 E / 800 S, or the 205 bus to 500 E @ 808 S.

We have ample bike racks right in front of Campus and behind the gardens.
PARKING:
Free public parking is available on the streets surrounding Wasatch Community Gardens’. Street parking is a bit tight—we encourage guests to park at Liberty Park 2 blocks south if they are able. Out of respect for our neighbors, please refrain from parking on Green St.
WCG’s Love Local Holiday Market offers multiple food and beverage options for purchase on-site from local vendors, including mulled wine and hot tea courtesy of Tea Zaanti, and hot chocolate for kids!
Hot food is available from vendors including Prime Corn, Sabor Colombiano, and Delicius!
Prepared foods are available from many vendors and will make the perfect gift for anyone who loves eating local! Check out the selections of jams, honey, cookies, and more!
Free water is available at indoor drinking fountains within the venue. Bring an empty water bottle to refill while enjoying the event!
30+ local vendors, farmers, and artisans join us to offer their homemade wares at the Love Local Holiday Market! Check out everything from functional and beautiful ceramic designs to herbal salves, hand-dyed textiles, jewelry and more!
Present and past members of our farm-based Job Training Program at WCG’s Green Phoenix Farm are offering handmade products in the Education Cottage. These gifts support members and alumni of our Job Training Program directly!
Warm up inside our Education Cottage and visit all of our programs' contributions to the market!
GIFT WRAPPING:
Shop for your holiday gifts with WCG and have your gift wrapped onsite at our DIY Upcycled Gift Wrap Station! Free!
KIDS ACTIVITY:
Kids can join our Youth and School Garden Team in making festive ornaments and holiday cards!
TAKE A PHOTO WITH THE TOMATO:
Explorers of the gardens may stumble upon the festively decorated Tomato Grotto, and take a holiday photo with our beloved tomato mascot! Get your holiday card photo shoot taken at WCG and celebrate tomato season year round!
Six-foot pine trees decorated by community partner organizations familes, and individuals will be available for silent auction! Bid on your favorite tree and take home a tree pre-decorated with love from a local group while supporting WCG’s mission to empower people to grow and eat healthy, organic, local food.
This is primarily an outdoor event held in early December—so please come prepared for the cold! We provide 30+ heat lamps for all the shopping spaces and picnic areas, and we offer hot tea, mulled wine, and hot chocolate to warm yourself, but the best thing you can do is plan ahead and wear layers!

Pets are not allowed at the Holiday Market. Service animals are welcome.
